Founding Member Terms & Listing Agreement
These Founding Member Terms & Listing Agreement (the “Terms”) govern your firm’s listing in the JusticeXpress Network directory (the “Directory”), published at JusticeXpressFlorida.com. They form an agreement between JusticeXpress, Inc., a Delaware public benefit corporation (“JusticeXpress,” “we,” or “us”), and the law firm or attorney that submits a listing application (“you” or “your Firm”). By submitting an application or maintaining a listing, you agree to these Terms.
1 The Directory — what it is
The JusticeXpress Network is a self-select, browse-all directory of independent law firms offering fixed-fee, limited-scope legal services. Consumers browse listings and choose whom to contact on their own. The Directory is not a lawyer referral service, matching service, or qualifying provider, and we do not recommend, endorse, match, rate, or route any consumer to any particular firm.
JusticeXpress is not a law firm, does not provide legal services or advice, and is not a party to any relationship between you and a client. JusticeXpress, Inc. operates and publishes the Directory; the consumer site JusticeXpressFlorida.com is operated through its wholly owned subsidiary, JusticeXpress Florida, LLC.
2 Eligibility
To list, you (or, for a firm, each listed attorney) must be currently licensed and in good standing with The Florida Bar, authorized to provide the services you list, and in compliance with the Rules Regulating The Florida Bar.
3 Florida Bar verification
You authorize JusticeXpress and its agents to verify your Florida Bar admission, membership standing, and public disciplinary history through The Florida Bar and other publicly available sources — at the time of application and periodically for as long as your listing is active. We may decline, suspend, or remove any listing we cannot confirm is licensed and in good standing.
4 Your listing content
You are responsible for the accuracy of your listing, including the limited-scope services and fixed fees you publish. You represent that your listing is truthful and not misleading, that it complies with the Florida Bar’s lawyer-advertising rules, and that it constitutes your attorney advertising, for which you are solely responsible. You will keep your listing current and will honor the fixed fee quoted for the scope of service described.
You grant JusticeXpress a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to publish, display, format, and promote your listing within the Directory.
5 Founding Verified Member offer
A basic listing is free. Firms that apply on or before December 31, 2027 receive Verified status at no charge for all of 2027 and are recognized as “Founding Verified Members” — a designation they retain as the Directory grows. Verified status includes the Verified badge, priority placement in browse results, an expanded profile, and ongoing monitoring of Bar standing.
Beginning January 1, 2028, Verified status renews at the standard flat directory fee of $195 per year. JusticeXpress will give advance notice before any charge, and no fee will be charged without the firm’s authorization. The Founding Member designation is permanent for as long as the firm remains listed, but does not by itself waive the annual Verified fee. A basic listing remains free at all times. Any Verified fee is for directory placement only and is never based on, or shared from, any fee a firm earns from a client.
The “Verified” designation reflects only that JusticeXpress has confirmed the firm is licensed and in good standing with The Florida Bar. It is not a rating, certification, claim of specialization, or endorsement of any lawyer’s competence.
6 Fees — flat directory fee only; no fee-sharing
Basic listings are free, and Verified status is free during the founding period described in Section 5. After the founding period, continued Verified status may require a flat, periodic listing fee, which we will disclose to you in advance.
Any listing fee is solely for directory placement. It is a flat fee and is never based on, calculated from, or shared out of any fee you earn from any client or matter. Nothing in these Terms creates any partnership, employment, joint venture, agency, or fee-sharing arrangement between you and JusticeXpress.
7 Your professional responsibilities
You remain solely responsible for your professional conduct and your clients — including client screening, conflicts checks, engagement agreements, informed consent to any limited-scope representation under Rule 4-1.2(c), any required court notices and document notations, competent representation, and compliance with all Rules Regulating The Florida Bar (including the lawyer-advertising rules and Rule 4-7.22). You exercise independent professional judgment; JusticeXpress exercises no control over your legal work or client matters.
8 No guarantee of results
JusticeXpress does not guarantee any level of visibility, consumer inquiries, client contacts, or business arising from the Directory.
9 Trademarks
“Law That You Can Afford,” “JusticeXpress,” and related names and logos are trademarks of JusticeXpress, Inc. While your listing is active, we grant you a limited, revocable, non-transferable license to state that your Firm is listed in the JusticeXpress Network and, if applicable, is a Founding Verified Member, in accordance with any guidelines we provide. You grant us a license to use your Firm’s name and logo to display and promote your listing.
10 Term and termination
These Terms take effect when JusticeXpress accepts your listing and continue while your listing is active. You may remove your listing at any time by request. JusticeXpress may suspend or remove any listing at its discretion — including for inaccuracy, non-compliance, or loss of good standing — and may discontinue the Directory. Sections 4, 6, 9, 11, and 12 survive termination.
11 Disclaimers
The Directory is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, JusticeXpress disclaims all warranties, express or implied, and is not responsible for your services, your listing content, or any client outcome.
12 Limitation of liability; indemnification
To the fullest extent permitted by law, JusticeXpress will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, and its total liability arising out of the Directory or these Terms will not exceed the greater of the fees you paid to JusticeXpress in the twelve months before the claim or $100. You will indemnify and hold JusticeXpress harmless from any claim arising out of your listing content, your legal services, or your non-compliance with these Terms or applicable rules.
13 Changes to these Terms
JusticeXpress may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms and, for material changes, provide notice. Maintaining your listing after an update takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.
14 Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in [County] County, Florida. [Confirm governing law and venue with counsel.]
15 Entire agreement; miscellaneous
These Terms, together with your listing application, are the entire agreement between you and JusticeXpress regarding the Directory and supersede any prior understanding. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in effect. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them to an affiliate or successor. Notices may be sent electronically to the email address in your listing.
